This Privacy Policy explains how Studio Id: AI Passport Photo Maker ("the App," "we," "us") handles information when you use the App. We built the App so that your photos are processed on your device whenever possible, and we only collect what's needed to run the App, show ads, and (if you choose) back up your exports.

When you take a photo with your camera or choose one from your photo library, the App processes it entirely on your device to detect your face, remove or replace the background, and generate a passport-compliant photo. These photos are not uploaded to our servers or any third-party AI service as part of this processing. They remain on your device unless you explicitly export, share, or back them up as described below.
If you enable Cloud Backup, your exported photos are uploaded to a private storage bucket hosted on Supabase, tied to an anonymous device identity that we generate. We do not require your name, email address, or account registration to use this feature. Only your own device can access your backed-up photos. You may stop using this feature at any time, and you can contact us to request deletion of your backed-up photos.
The App displays advertisements using Google AdMob. AdMob and its partners may collect device identifiers, advertising identifiers, general device information, and approximate location (derived from your IP address) to serve and measure advertisements, including determining whether to show personalized or non-personalized advertisements according to your consent choices.
The App uses Firebase Remote Config to determine whether a newer version is required. This process uses an anonymous Firebase installation identifier. No personal information is transmitted during this process.
Premium subscriptions are processed entirely through Google Play Store or Apple App Store. We do not receive or store your payment card information. We only receive confirmation that your purchase has been completed so premium features can be unlocked on your device.

The App is not intended for children under the age of 13 (or the applicable minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.
We rely on the security controls provided by Google, Apple, and Supabase for any information that leaves your device. Photo processing itself occurs locally on your device using on-device AI models. Although we take reasonable precautions, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
If you use Cloud Backup or view advertisements, some information described above may be processed on servers located outside your country of residence, operated by Google or Supabase.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any significant changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
